This was a true story about a woman who was pledged to marry a man. she didn’t know, in an arranged marriage. She was sent to America, and it was expected that she was to help her whole village and she realized later that she was just being taken advantage of. She learned and discovered what she needed to do:To escape from her non-supportive husband and loveless marriage despite objections from her family and lack of support. Miss comfort was strong. She was able to find happiness for herself. She went into sharp details of her rough life Guyana, Africa and how she managed her new life in America with the friends that she met here. This is a story of Strength and adversity, and how she became a strong person and overcame the bad marriage to be a single mom. Ms Comfort persevered. The last chapter she includes, what she called it a bonus chapter. And in this last chapter she discusses the power of positive thinking, and includes instructions on effective meditation. When we follow her suggestions, it will help us to be to be the best person we can be.

1. What Inspired You to Write This Book?

I wrote this book because I love stories. The Harry Potter series is a favorite of mine, and its combination of creativity, magic, and suspense was inspiring to me. I find being immersed in a story and invested in what’s to come very exciting, so I wanted to create something that would allow readers to do just that.

2. What will your readers gain from your book?

In addition to being entertained, I hope my readers will see characters in difficult circumstances and feel they’re not alone in their real-life struggles. I hope that my characters’ ability to find a way forward will inspire readers to look for silver linings and that their successes as a team and struggles when divided show readers the importance of togetherness.

3. What was your unique quotient for this project?

One thing that makes my story unique is the shift in perspective. Readers get to see the events of the book unfold through the eyes of a variety of characters. This provides readers with additional information and adds layers to the story. Readers get to know each character a little more while developing a more complete picture of what’s happening in the book.

4. How did becoming an author help in your brand/business?

Becoming an author has opened the door to new opportunities. It allowed me to express my creativity in a way that helped me connect with different people and be a part of a new community. Through social media, in-person events, and more, I’ve had the chance to meet new people, share new experiences, and even support other authors in their journeys to become published.

5. What are your future plans as an author?

Moving forward, I will continue writing The Rodney Brothers series. I have a lot more of this story to give, and I’m excited to see my first two books continue to evolve.
